Work (Software Developer)
Paragraph 1 – Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is Jarwanto. I am from Boyolali, and I am currently studying Information Systems at Universitas Siber Muhammadiyah. I am writing this to complete my final writing exam assignment for the English course. Besides studying, I am currently working as a software developer or programmer.
Paragraph 2 – Body
I founded a small IT company called Smart IT, which provides software services and develops applications based on web and Android platforms. I have many clients from institutions, companies, and private schools. Alhamdulillah, I earn enough income from this business to support my family’s needs. Running my own business is more challenging than working as an employee, but it gives me more independence and experience. (comparative degree)
Paragraph 3 – Body
My experience in building this career started when I was in the first year of junior high school, around 2002, when I learned coding in a self-taught way. There were many ups and downs because I did not have a laptop or a PC at that time. I relied on internet cafés and computer rentals to study without teachers and proper equipment. However, all of these efforts were worth it, because when I was in the eleventh grade of senior high school, I became a national computer science olympiad champion.
Paragraph 4 – Conclusion
After graduating from senior high school, I chose not to continue my studies at a university and rejected several scholarships because I had to take care of my mother, who was ill, while continuing to learn coding independently. Alhamdulillah, now I have my own business and can build a career in this field. I chose Universitas Siber Muhammadiyah because it suits my current profession. In the future, I will continue learning and improving my skills, because information technology develops very rapidly. Working in a field that I have loved since childhood is the best decision I have ever made.
