I’m okay (little banged up, but ok)

Hi aggressivefatloss lovers,

You might have heard about my painful experience when I was fasting a couple weeks ago.

It took me a few days to recover from that painful experience, but I’m here to talk about it.

Here’s the Video that documents the Most Painful Fasting Experience I have EVER been through – VIDEO HERE ON YOUTUBE

We fasted for 24 hours, then strapped on 35lbs on our backs and set out to see how quickly we could complete 35 miles on foot.

It took us a bit over 10 hours with ZERO food at all.

The only thing we consumed were LMNT Electrolytes because they’re fasting friendly (this link gets you a free sample pack alongside purchase).

I chronicled the chapters that the body goes through during an even like this while fasting:

1) Burning through initial glycogen stores
2) Starting to run out of glycogen, and partial gluconeogenesis
3) Ketone Formation
4) Ketones at their highest along side very low insulin
5) Protein and fat Breakdown and (unfortunately) tissue breakdown at the end

It is a nice journey through what happens in the body and really showcases it in a cinematic form.

Throughout the entire event, I probably consumed 8,000mg of sodium (by way of LMNT Electrolytes) so that I could maintain fluid balance and muscular endurance.

We had some caffeine (coffee and tea) as I considered that fair game to assist in fatty acid mobilization.

Either way, it was a testament to grit and endurance.

A couple of the guys didn’t fare too well with some pretty gnarly blisters and biomechanical issues… but they still finished.

Anyhow, go watch the video to witness me in some pretty serious pain, yet pulling it together for the sake of YouTube 🙂

And if you do want to grab a free sample pack of LMNT, here is that special link for you again – Free Sample Pack with Purchase

The body is capable of some amazing things. Even WITHOUT piling on sugar and carbs through long events…

Enjoy my suffering!
