pumpkin drink before bed (helps my back)

Sorry it’s a bit late, but thought you may want to try this out tonight.

I usually like to sip on some kind of tea or something warm before bed. But I think this is a more “seasonal” drink that might be kind of nice (and have some potential anti-inflammatory benefits).

Here’s the recipe, but down below I put an option for Organifi’s Pumpkin Spice Gold Drink if you just want to have a done-for-you option (and 20% off). Their version has more anti-inflammatory ingredients and may help you with aches and pains a bit more.

  • 1.25 Cup of either Coconut Milk or Raw Milk (depending on what you generally do)
  • 2 Level Tbsp Coconut Cream (like from the can – you could sub this for raw heavy cream)
  • 2 Tbsp Unsweetened Pumpkin Puree (from the can is fine)
  • Stevia or Monkfruit to Taste
  • Dash of Turmeric, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Vanilla extract or a pinch of raw vanilla bean
  • OPTIONAL – 1 Scoop Unflavored Collagen (might help you sleep)

Heat it all up, froth it with a mixer/frother and enjoy. Try to finish it one hour before bed because anything in my stomach right before bed tends to mess with sleep onset.

If you want one that packs a much more powerful punch, try Organifi’s Pumpkin Spice (20% off here). It has 0 Net Carbs

There’s has reishi mushroom which acts as an adaptogen to help calm you down and reset your mood a bit.

It also has lemon balm to help you sleep as well as turkey tail (another mushroom that may help the immune system), ginger, magnesium (to help you sleep and relax) and of course black pepper to help availability of the turmeric to work it’s anti-inflammatory effects.

I’m all about making things from scratch, but when I’m traveling or not at home, which unfortunately has been a LOT lately, I have been packing Pumpkin Spice Gold with me.

I think at the end of the day, you just need a treat that sorta tastes like a pumpkin spice latte without the coffee and only 30 calories and no net carbs (5g fiber).

Try it Here for 20% Off (it’s the first listing on the shop page)

If you REALLY want to level it up, you can take the recipe that I wrote out above and ADD a scoop of Pumpkin Gold to it. Then it’s practically like a pumpkin pie in a cup (or you can chill it and it’s like a pumpkin milkshake).

I’m glad they came out with this seasonal flavor, because my wife and I are totally basic when it comes down to pumpkin… lol.

BTW, speaking of pain and inflammation. I hope you saw today’s video on my channel with Ben Patrick (Knees Over Toes Guy) where we walked through how to alleviate knee pain with a few simple exercises and anti-inflammatory nutrition tips!

See you tomorrow!
